Terms for using MeloLetter.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using MeloLetter, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

MeloLetter helps users turn personal stories, letters, names, and memories into personalized AI song gifts. A finished gift may include lyrics, generated audio, a cover image, a message, and a public share page.

3. Accounts

You may need to sign in to save songs, use paid credits, publish share pages, or view account history. You are responsible for keeping your account access secure and for activity under your account.

4. Your content

You are responsible for the stories, names, lyrics, images, messages, and other content you submit. Do not submit content that you do not have permission to use, content that violates someone else's rights, or sensitive information about another person without their consent.

You grant MeloLetter the permission needed to process, store, display, and transmit your content so we can provide the service, including generating lyrics, generating songs, saving account records, and rendering share pages.

5. AI-generated output

Music and audio generation: MeloLetter currently uses Suno v5.5 (model identifier chirp-v5.5) through the YourMusic API to generate songs and singing audio.

Lyrics generation: MeloLetter currently uses OpenAI GPT-5.5 (model identifier gpt-5.5) through the Brioi API to draft lyrics and song titles. MeloLetter is an independently operated product; use of these model names identifies the underlying technology and does not imply an official partnership or endorsement.

Lyrics, songs, titles, and related output are AI-generated. Output may be imperfect, similar to other generated content, or require review before sharing. You are responsible for reviewing output before publishing or sending it. Generated audio must not be represented as a recording or endorsement by a real artist or another person.

You may use finished MeloLetter gifts for personal sharing. Do not use generated output for resale, advertising, public performance, or other commercial use unless you have independently confirmed that you have the rights and permissions needed for that use.

6. Public share pages

When you publish a share page, anyone with the link may view the page, play the selected song, read visible lyrics, and see the message or cover image you included. Do not publish private information unless you have permission from the people involved.

We may remove or disable content if we believe it violates these terms, the law, third-party rights, or platform safety requirements.

7. Payments, credits, and plans

Paid song packs, subscriptions, credits, and included regenerates are described at checkout or on the pricing page. Credits have no cash value and are intended for use inside MeloLetter. Subscription renewals, cancellations, taxes, and payment processing may be handled by our payment provider.

Except where required by law, payments are not automatically refundable after generation work has started or a paid credit has been used.

8. AI Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to prompts, stories, names, titles, lyrics, generated songs and audio, cover images, gift messages, and public share pages. It covers content you submit, request, generate, store, publish, or distribute through MeloLetter.

Content standards and prohibited categories. You must not use MeloLetter to create, upload, request, publish, or share any of the following six categories:

1. Sexual or NSFW content: pornography, sexually explicit lyrics or audio, graphic sexual descriptions, sexual exploitation, and other sexually explicit or NSFW material. Ordinary, non-explicit romantic songs are permitted.

2. Violence or gore: graphic violence, gore, depictions or descriptions of brutal injury or torture, threats, or content that encourages, glorifies, or provides instructions for violence or physical harm.

3. Hate speech: content that attacks, dehumanizes, threatens, or incites discrimination or violence against people based on protected characteristics, including race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

4. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any sexual content involving, depicting, or sexualizing anyone under 18, including fictional, synthetic, or AI-generated material; grooming; or content that facilitates child sexual abuse or exploitation. This is prohibited without exception.

5. Deepfakes or impersonation: unauthorized imitation or cloning of a real person's voice, identity, or likeness; deceptive recordings presented as that person's speech, singing, or endorsement; and non-consensual sexual deepfakes. Do not impersonate artists, other people, brands, or organizations.

6. Copyright or trademark infringement: lyrics, compositions, recordings, samples, images, logos, or other protected material used without the necessary rights or permission, including unauthorized reproduction of existing songs or misleading use of a trademark. Requesting an AI recreation does not give you rights to the original work.

We also prohibit content that promotes or facilitates terrorism, violent extremism, mass violence, genocide, or weapons of mass destruction; harassment, fraud, and privacy violations; deceptive claims that AI output was created or performed by a real person; and attempts to bypass safety controls, payment requirements, account restrictions, or usage limits.

8.1 Content moderation

Our content moderation process addresses submitted content and AI-generated output through generation safeguards and review of reported or identified violations. Our lyric-generation instructions prohibit imitating living artists and quoting existing songs. Generation requests are also subject to the generation provider's safety rules, and a provider may reject a request under those rules.

When a potential violation is reported or identified, we assess its severity and review the available prompts, lyrics, generated audio, images, and share-page content relevant to the report. We may ask the reporter or account holder for clarification or evidence of permission. Child-safety concerns, credible threats, and other serious harm receive priority, and we may disable access to the content while reviewing it.

After review, we decide whether the content or conduct violates this policy, apply the appropriate enforcement action, and communicate the outcome to the affected user or reporter where appropriate and permitted by law. Review may cover both submitted inputs and generated outputs. Do not attempt to evade a rejected request by changing wording or using another account.

8.2 Reporting and appeals

Report AI-content violations, impersonation, child-safety concerns, or suspected copyright or trademark infringement to support@meloletter.com with the subject "Content safety report". This is also the support channel listed on our Contact page.

Include the affected song or share-page URL, a description of the concern, the relevant policy category, and a way to contact you. Rights holders should identify the protected work or trademark and explain their ownership or authority to act. Do not download, attach, or redistribute suspected CSAM; provide only the URL and information needed to locate it.

We review reports in good faith and limit disclosure of a reporter's identifying information to what is needed to investigate, protect safety, or meet legal obligations. Knowingly false reports and misuse of the reporting process are prohibited. This email channel is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services if someone faces immediate danger.

To appeal an enforcement decision, email support@meloletter.com with the subject "Content moderation appeal", the affected account or content reference, and the reason you believe the decision was incorrect. We will reconsider the decision using the information provided and correct it when warranted.

8.3 Enforcement actions

Depending on the severity, context, and history of a violation, we may issue a warning or request an edit; refuse or stop generation; remove or disable access to songs, images, or public share pages; temporarily suspend an account or access to the service; or permanently terminate access for serious or repeated violations.

CSAM, child exploitation, terrorism, and credible threats of serious harm are subject to urgent protective action, including content removal or access suspension. We may preserve relevant records and report violations to competent authorities when required by law. A serious violation may result in action without a prior warning. These actions do not limit any consumer rights or refunds required by applicable law.

9. Third-party services

MeloLetter may rely on third-party services for authentication, database and storage, payments, lyrics generation, music generation, hosting, and delivery. Those services may have their own terms and policies.

10. Service changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of MeloLetter at any time. We may also update pricing, plans, generation providers, or feature availability.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

MeloLetter is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that generated songs will meet every expectation, that the service will always be uninterrupted, or that every output will be error-free.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, MeloLetter will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill.
